· The Importance of Resilience in Business Success
In a fast-changing world, the growth of technology and an always-on culture, staying balanced and at your best is paramount. We are delighted to welcome Rupert and Aidan from Carter Corson, Business Psychologists who will lift the lid on developing your resilience. Through a deeper understanding of yourself, your values, and your stress triggers (and how this links to your job), you will find ways to become more resilient during times of stress and pressure. This session will give you time out to think and give you practical tools to apply as you develop the best version of yourself.
· Funded Business Support for Lancashire Businesses
UCLan has a range of funded business support projects ranging from, leadership development for digital & creative industries to making sure you are investment ready and help taking new innovations to market. We have challenged our Project Managers to get across how they can help your business in just 5-minutes! You can then chase to find out more by ticking the appropriate box on the expression of interest form.
· UCLan Business Connect – Membership
On March 1 the Centre for SME Development will be launching a new complimentary membership open to the business community, social enterprises and intermediary organisations. Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and sharing our expertise with the business community is a priority area of strategic importance for the University. UCLan is far more than a place to study and our aim is to widen engagement and create an economic impact in your business or organisation. The membership will provide you with access to a host of UCLan services as well as keep you informed of opportunities open to businesses.
